DETROIT -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball team has finalized plans for apreseason trip to Vancouver and Whistler, British Columbia, Canada. The Titans will play four games against Canadian college teams while visiting two beautiful cities. The eight-day tour runs from Aug. 13-21.
The Titans will depart from Detroit on Wednesday, Aug. 13 for Vancouver, where they will play four games in five days, before heading over to Whistler where they will spend two days sight seeing before flying back to Detroit on Thursday, Aug. 21.
"This is a great opportunity for us to bring our team together in the summer to get in 10 practices to help build our identity," said head coach Ray McCallum. "I've been on a lot of these trips and after each one our team has really grown together and gotten better, it's a great experience."
All four games played will be against Canadian college teams. A complete schedule is listed below:

The Titans will return All-Horizon League forward and captain Juwan Howard Jr. along with All-League Freshman guard Jarod Williams to the court this season. Detroit will also welcome its 2014 signing class of Aaron Foster-Smith, Jaleel Hogan and Shy McClelland to Dick Vitale Court.
