INDIANAPOLIS – Detroit senior Lesley Hanna (Exuma, Bahamas) has been named the Horizon League Men’s Runner of the Week, while Valparaiso senior Jarrett Mickens (Aurora, Ill.) has earned Horizon League Men’s Field Athlete of the Week honors, for the week beginning Nov. 29.
Competing at the season-opening Blue and Gold Invitational on Dec. 3, Hanna topped his competition in the 500 meters, posting a time of 1:04.05. The mark was the third-best in Detroit history and set a new personal best for Hanna in the month of December.

Opening the indoor season at the Early Bird Open in Normal, Ill., Mickens narrowly missed setting two personal bests in the long jump and triple jump.
