Frederike Dubeau started the play when she cleared a ball past midfield to Taylor Vidovic who took a few touches and played a through ball to Havas. Havas was able to gather it and beat her defender into the box, getting shot on frame that beat Longwood's Shelby Hall.

A header came out of the midfield and caught Milwaukee keeper Jamie Forbes at an in between point, Kaeli Flaska tracked the ball, got around Forbes and finished on an empty net. The shot was ISU's first that was not within steps of outside the penalty area.
