INDIANAPOLIS -- Green Bay’s Daniel Pogue and Cleveland State’s Kacey Cummings are the Horizon League Men’s and Women’s Divers of the Week for Nov. 28-Dec. 4.
Pogue, a senior from Chisholm, Minn., earned diver of the week after for the third time this fall after placing second and fourth in the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events at the Hawkeye Invitational in Iowa City, Iowa. Pogue broke his own school record in the 1-meter event, placing second with a score of 366.15. He placed fourth in the 3-meter event with a score 307.80
Green Bay is back in action this Saturday when it hosts conference foe Valparaiso in a dual-meet.
Cummings, a senior from Farmington Hills, Mich., won the women’s diver of the week award for the third time this season after finishing first in both diving events at the Cleveland Dual Meet Invitational Cummings won the 1-meter event with a score of 276.65 and the 3-meter dive with a score 284.5, defeating seven other competitors in both events.
Cleveland State does not compete again until January.
