The Horizon League has announced Milwaukee’s Nick Menninga as Men’s Swimmer of the Week and Milwaukee’s Dakota Skenandore as Men’s Diver of the Week.

Menninga helped Milwaukee gather four first place wins in his final home meet. The senior won the 50 and the 100 freestyle with times of 21.04 and 46.25, placing 1/8 in both races. Each individual event came just one event apart and shortly after opening relay. Menninga went on to help Panthers capture first place in the 400 freestyle relay finishing at 3:09.06, as well as the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:34.22.
This is the first Swimmer of the Week honor that Menninga has received this season.

First year Dakota Skenandore’s diving performance helped propel the Panthers to a close 160-138 win over Chicago this past weekend. The freshman finished in first place in 1-meterdiving with a score of 272.85. Skenandore’s second win came in the 3-meter diving with a total score of 272.85, placing him 1/5.
This is the second Diver of the Week honor that Smith has received this season.
