CHICAGO - Loyola University Chicago shutout the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay 1-0 in game 13 of the Horizon League Championship at Loyola Softball Park. The Ramblers will faceoff against UIC in game 14 of the championship, while Green Bay's loss eliminates the Phoenix from the tournament.

Sophomore Amy Solava picked up the win for the Ramblers and improved to 15-14 on the year. LU right-hander worked 7.0 innings, struck out six, scattered four hits and walked no one. In addition, Solava held Green Bay's offense to just two base runners.

Green Bay's Anna Bluemell suffered the loss despite allowing just one run and limiting the Ramblers to three hits. Bluemel dropped to 9-12 on the year.

Loyola improved to 10-9 in one-run games and 13-2 when leading after six innings.

Both teams were held scoreless until the fourth inning when Loyola took a 1-0 lead. In the fourth frame, sophomore Angie Funston executed a suicide squeeze, which scored senior Lindsay O'Gean from third. O'Gean reached base on a bunt single and advanced to second on a passed ball. She then went to third on a wild pitch.
