INDIANAPOLIS – The Horizon League has announced this week’s Track and Field Athletes of the Week, with Chad Zallow of Youngstown State and Ashley Burr of Oakland claiming Runner of the Week honors and Milwaukee’s Peter Andrew and Youngstown State’s Abby Jones earning Field Athlete of the Week nods.

Zallow won the 110m hurdles at the Jesse Owens Track Classic by 0.40 of a second with a time of 13.71. a mark that ranks 10th in the nation. He also posted a career-best time of 21.18 seconds in the 200m dash at the Jesse Owens Track Classic. He also

Burr set new 3000m steeplechase school record at 10:30.45 to claim eighth place at the Virginia Challenge. Her mark currently ranks 29th in the East Region.

Jones cleared a career-high bar in the high jump (1.68m) to take third place at the Jesse Owens Track Classic. Her jump placed her at the top of the Horizon League best list.
