Horizon League Men's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week
Laith Hoffarth, Loyola, Senior, Freeburg, Ill.
For the second year in a row, Laith Hoffarth took first place in the high jump at the Lewis Invitational, improving last season's mark from 6'8" to 6'10" in the season opener. Hoffarth remained undefeated in his indoor campaign last season and is looking to close out his final indoor season the same way.
Horizon League Women's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week
Carly Youlton, Youngstown State, Freshman,Chatham, Ohio
In her first collegiate meet, Youlton placed fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 36' 8.5" and added a ninth-place spot of 17'4.75" in the long jump at the Golden Flash Gala. Her mark in the triple jump ranks third all-time while her long jump mark ranks fifth.

Eric Christy, Detroit, Freshman, St. Clair, Mich.
Christy placed third in the 60-meter hurdles in his collegiate debut at the Kent State Golden Flash Gala over the weekend.
Kyle Dalton, Youngstown State, Freshman,Leavittsburg, Ohio
Dalton placed fourth in the high jump with a mark of 6'4" at the Kent State Golden Flash Gala. His mark ranks third in school history.

Andrea Karl, Detroit, Junior, Casco, Mich.
Karl won the 3000-meter at the Kent State Golden Flash Gala in a new personal record time of 10:30.25.
Marcia Faustin, Loyola, Sophomore, Orland Park, Ill.
Last season's Newcomer of the Year at the Horizon League outdoor championships, Faustin took the high jump crown at the Lewis Invitational for the second year in a row. She beat out the competition with a mark of 5'4".
