INDIANAPOLIS – Green Bay’s Ben Loeffelholz and Wright State’s Molley Pipkorn are the Horizon League Men’s and Women’s Swimmer of the Week for Dec. 5-11.
Loeffelholz, a freshman from Dubuque, Iowa, was a winner in two individual events during Green Bay’s 157-87 win over Valparaiso on Saturday. The rookie swimmer won the 100-butterfly in a time of 53.84 and the 200-freestyle with a time of 1:48.91.
Pipkorn, a senior from Hartland, Wis., took home women’s top honors after winning all three individual events she competed in and was part of one first place relay team in WSU’s dual-match at the University of Tampa. Pipkorn won the 200-freestyle (1:56.39), the 500-freestyle (5:13.22) and the 100-individual medley (1:01.34) as the Raiders fell to the Spartans, 150-112.
