Siehs Closes Olympic Trials in 50 Free

OMAHA, Neb. -- Milwaukee senior Mandie Siehs closed the involvement of the nine Horizon League student-athletes and alumni in the United States Olympic Swimming Team Trials, competing in the women's 50 meter freestyle at the CenturyLink Center.

Siehs, the 2016 Horizon League champion in the 50 free at 23.00 seconds, touched the wall in 26.38 at the Trials, finishing 101st out of 178 competitors.

The rising senior joined Milwaukee alumna Emily McClellan as Panthers representing the program at the U.S. Olympic Trials.
