Men's Athlete of the Week
Doug Barber, Cleveland StateWilloughby Hills, Ohio * SeniorBarber won the Norm Bullock Collegiate Classic with a 54-hole total of two-under-par 212. He opened the tournament with a 73 on Sunday and came back with rounds of five-under-par 67 and 74 on Monday. The 67 was a career-low and the low round of the tournament. It was the second time Barber has won a tournament in his career and the first time since he claimed the 2005 Horizon League Championship as a freshman. Barber's medalist performance helped the Vikings claim the tournament title.
Women's Athlete of the Week
Molly Fields, ButlerAnderson, Ind. * FreshmanFields captured medalist honors with a career-best 74 at the Butler-DePauw dual match. She shot a one-over-par 36 on the front nine and then closed with a three-over-par 38 on the back nine to edge teammate and runner-up Paige McCracken by a single stroke.

Tim Morrow, Youngstown StateBoardman, Ohio * SophomoreMorrow recorded two top-20 finishes in the Penguins' events this past week. In the two-round Notre Dame Irish Invitational, he was seventh with a 142. Morrow carded two scores of 71 to finish in the top 10 of a tournament for the first time in his collegiate career. He followed that with a 20th-place finish at the Norm Bullock Collegiate. He had a three-round 226, firing two 76's and a 74.
Isaac Mulvihill, ButlerCaledonia, Mich. * SophomoreMulvihill paced Butler to a win at the Big Four Tournament and captured medalist honors with a one-over-par 71. He shot a one-under-par 34 on the front nine, and then closed with a two-over-par 37 on the back nine. The 71 was Mulvihill's best single round this year.
Armando Favela, LoyolaTijuana, Mexico * JuniorFavela led the Ramblers to an 11th-place team finish at the Beu Mussatto Invitational, April 4-5 in Macomb, Ill. The left-handed junior carded a 54-hole score of 238 (87-74-77), which included a two-over 74, the team's lowest mark of the tournament, in round two. Favela has been Loyola's top finisher in each of the last two meets.
Mark Sommerfeld, DetroitWaterloo, Ontario * SeniorSommerfeld birdied the first playoff hole to take home the runner-up trophy at the Bullock Intercollegiate. Sommerfeld shot even par for three tournament rounds with a 71-73-72-216 card, leading Detroit to the runner-up trophy as a team.
Adam Austreng, Green BayShawano, Wis. * JuniorAustreng tied for team lead with a 14th-place finish at Beu Mussatto Classic. He fired a three-round total of 228, with a team-low 72 in the first round.
Women's
Kaitlin Kearney, LoyolaGlenmoore, Pa. * JuniorKearney was Loyola's top finisher at the Illini Spring Classic, April 4-5. The junior posted a 54-hole score of 250 (86-81-83) to tie for 51st overall.
Ellyn Hansen, Green BayMilton, Wis. * FreshmanHansen was the top finisher in the first dual meet against Chicago State, winning by seven shots with a score of 85. She has led the team six times in nine events this year. For the week, Hansen led the Phoenix with an 89.5 scoring average.
