CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cleveland State goalkeeper Brad Stuver (Twinsburg, Ohio/Twinsburg) is one of 54 collegiate players who have been invited to the 2013 adidas Major League Soccer Player Combine in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. from Jan. 10-15.

Stuver is the lone player from the Horizon League to earn an invite and one of seven goalkeepers.

Stuver capped his CSU career by earning second team All-Horizon League and third team All-Great Lakes Region honors this year after playing every minute in goal for the Vikings and leading the squad to the Horizon League tournament championship and NCAA bid.

He was named the MVP of the Horizon League Championship after a 1-0 shutout of Valparaiso in the semifinals and a 2-0 shutout of Loyola in the championship match.

It was CSU's first NCAA appearance since 1980.

In his final season in the Green and White, Stuver made 81 saves and posted an 0.86 goals against average. He also recorded nine shutouts, tied for the second most in a season in CSU history.

Stuver concluded his career ranked first in the CSU career record book in minutes played (6,397), second in games played (71) and games started by a goalkeeper (67) and third in goals against average (1.13), saves (292) and shutouts (9).

A committee of NCAA Division I coaches from every conference, as well as MLS representatives, selected the invitees, all of whom completed their college eligibility this season. Generation adidas signings, non-collegiate players and additional college seniors will be announced in the coming weeks.
