MALE SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

Dobies had another banner week as he posted NCAA `B' qualifying marks in the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke events with times of 54.03 and 2:00.43, respectively, at the Miami (OH) Invitational last weekend. His efforts in both events are competitive nationally, and at the top of the League this season. His time in the 200 was a Viking school record and a Horizon League record, and his 100 mark was a pool and an invitational record. Dobies led off the 200 and 400-yard freestyle relays by setting school records in the 50 (20.70) and 100-yard freestyles (44.62), respectively. He also helped five relays score points for CSU.

DeGrand was a standout at the House of Champions Meet, winning two individual events and leading off four winning relay teams. She won the 200-yard individual medley (2:07.40) and the 200-yard backstroke (2:05.73), while also posting a runner-up finish in the 200-yard freestyle (1:54.62). Her efforts helped the Phoenix to a second-place finish among eight teams at the event.

Rongitsch was the top Panther finisher in each diving event at the Miami (OH) Invitational, where he competed against 12 other Division I programs. He placed seventh overall in the finals on the one-meter board with a score of 217.45 after posting a 259.60 total in the preliminaries. He also placed third in the three-meter with a score of 312.10.

Hall competed against 15 other teams at the Miami (OH) Invite, where she placed first overall on the three-meter board with a season-high total of 296.05. She also earned third-place on the one-meter board (269.90). Both scores were NCAA Zone-Qualifying totals.

Gelden helped the Phoenix to a second-place finish among six teams at the House of Champions Invitational by posting three runner-up individual finishes in the 200-yard individual medley (1:59.13), the 400-yard IM (4:16.19), and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:11.46). He also swam on four relays for Green Bay.

Balow was the top Phoenix finisher in both diving events at the House of Champions Meet, as he earned fifth-place in the one-meter event (236.75) and sixth-place on the three-meter board (254.40).
Chase Gravengood

Sr., Oconomowoc, Wis.
Gravengood helped the Panthers to their second-straight team title at the Wheaton Invitational, winning all three of his individual events. His winning time of 3:59.32 in the 400-yard individual medley established a new Milwaukee school record as well as a new pool and meet standard. He also set a meet and pool mark in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 1:50.66, and won the 200-yard butterfly in 1:50.80. All of his performances produced season-best times.
Evan Dunn

Dunn earned sixth-place in the finals of the 200-yard butterfly (1:52.66), while finishing 11th in the 400-yard individual medley (4:06.36), 14th in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:10.58) and 17th in the 200 IM (1:59.51). He also participated on three relay teams for the Flames.

Oleynik placed ninth on the one-meter board with a score of 227.65 and 12th in the three-meter event with a total of 214.60.

Shafer posted three season-best times during the House of Champions Invite last weekend, earning 13th in the 200-yard freestyle (2:02.70), 17th-place in the 500-yard freestyle (5:24.04), and 21st in the 100-yard freestyle (56.82).
Lesley Jones

As the top Vikings performer last weekend, Jones set new personal-best marks in the 50-yard freestyle (24.53) and the 100-yard freestyle (53.18), finishing in 17th-place in both events. She also contributed to several relays throughout the meet.
Kari Helland

Sr., Wayzata, Minn.
Helland was the team's top performer on the boards in both events at the House of Champions Invitational last weekend. She placed second among 21 competitors in the three-meter event (224.30) and fourth among 21 divers on the one-meter board (223.30).
Molly Finn

Jr., Pewaukee, Wis.
Finn led the Panthers to their third-straight title at the Wheaton Invitational. She earned a victory in the 200-yard butterfly with a meet-record time of 2:05.32, just .31 seconds off of the school record. She also took second-place in both the 200 and 400-yard individual medley races, recording season-best times of 2:08.72 and 4:32.15, respectively. Finn also swam on four relay teams, including two which earned first-place.
Andrea Giczewski

Giczewski finished fourth in the 50-yard freestyle at the Miami (OH) Invitational with a season-best effort of 24.00. She also posted a sixth-place showing in the 100-yard freestyle (52.08) and led off the seventh-place 800-yard and the 14th-place 200-yard freestyle relay teams.

Peterson earned 20th-place in the one-meter (195.50) and the three-meter (190.90) at the Miami (OH) Invitational.
