MALE SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Cameron Seebeck

In a dual meet at Green Bay, Seebeck claimed the top prize in both the 50-yard freestyle (21.51) and the 100-yard freestyle (46.96). He beat the field in the 100 by almost a second. Seebeck also swam the third leg of the 400-yard freestyle relay that broke the pool record at Peter F. Dorschel Natatorium with a mark of 3:07.28.
FEMALE SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

Giczewski won both sprint freestyle events in the dual meet at Green Bay. The senior captain took the 50-yard freestyle in 24.02, and won the 100-yard freestyle (52.43) by over two seconds.
MALE DIVER OF THE WEEK

Brecksville, Ohio
Baiko won both diving events for the fifth time this season. His mark of 343.80 in the three-meter was close to his season-best, and he beat the next closest competitor by nearly 200 points. He also recorded a 257.93 in the one-meter event.
FEMALE DIVER OF THE WEEK

Helland was the lone multi-individual event winner on the women's side against UIC. She won both diving events, posting 252.30 in the one-meter event, and 260.40 on the three-meter board. Her effort helped the Phoenix to its seventh-straight dual-meet victory this season.

Winchell won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 51.80 and led off the winning 200-yard medley relay (1:37.12), posting a split of 25.76.
Alex Hill

So., Lakeville, Minn.
Hill won a pair of events in the dual meet against UIC, taking both the 500-yard (4:37.42) and 1000-yard freestyles (9:40.16). He was the lone two-event winner for the Phoenix, and he also helped the 400-yard freestyle relay team to a runner-up finish (3:10.69).
Brandon Kuntz
Green Bay
Jr., Pulaski, Wis.
Kuntz won the three-meter event against UIC, posting a score of 271.80 to win by 18 points. He earned third-place on the one-meter board (255.45).
Tristan Oleynik

Jr., Wheaton, Ill.
Oleynik took first-place in the one-meter event against Green Bay with a score of 260.55.
Kurtis Malone

Fr., Pekin, Ill.
Malone turned in a season-high score of 226.30 against Michigan State on the one-meter board, which was also the seventh-best mark in Valpo history for six dives.
Kyle Verage

Jr., Hubertus, Wis.
Verage posted two season-best times, as he finished second in the 100-yard backstroke (55.20), and third in the 200-yard individual medley (2:05.20). He also swam on the 200-yard medley relay that finished with a season-best mark of 1:42.31.

Gates won three individual titles, claiming the 100-yard backstroke (1:05.00), the 200-yard backstroke (2:19.35) and the 400-yard individual medley (5:00.16) against Rose Hulman and Translyvania. She also anchored the winning 800-yard freestyle relay.
Lesley Jones

Jones nearly won the 100-yard freestyle, touching the wall just .40 seconds behind the winner in a time of 55.17. She also helped the 200-yard freestyle relay to a third-place finish.
Laurel Yelton

Yelton won the 200-yard freestyle (1:55.28) against UIC, and was runner-up in the 200-yard backstroke (2:10.25). She also helped her 400-yard freestyle relay team to victory (3:35.84).
Sonia Peterson

Fr., Morton Grove, Ill.
Peterson placed third in both the one-meter (199.05) and the three-meter (207.08) events against Green Bay.
Becky Crabtree

Fr., Mason, Ohio
Crabtree swam a collegiate-best 24.58 as she won the 50-yard freestyle against Michigan State, and posted the fastest time in Valpo history. She also posted a time of 55.70 in the 100-yard freestyle.
Anna Orwick

So., Broadlands, Ill.
Orwick turned in a season-best score of 207.70 on the one-meter board against Michigan State.
Megan Rupe
Youngstown State
So., New Philadelphia, Ohio
Rupe turned in runner-up finishes in both the 200 and 500-yard freestyle events, and she also anchored the 400-yard freestyle relay.
