Six of the Horizon League's seven baseball programs open the 2009 campaign this weekend (Feb. 20-22). The slate includes 22 games in three days -- five on Friday, 11 on Saturday and six on Sunday.
Fifteen of the Horizon League's 22 season-opening contests will be against nationally-ranked foes. Wright State challenges #1 Texas A&M (four-game series), UIC squares off with #4 Texas (four games), Milwaukee faces #13 Arizona State (four games) and Youngstown State battles #14 Georgia (three games).
