UW-Green Bay Advances to NCAA Tournament With Horizon League Championship Win

Dayton, Ohio - UW-Green Bay defeated Wright State 58-48 to advance to its fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament. With the victory, the Phoenix jumps to 27-3 overall as Wright State slips to 19-11 on the season.The Raiders concluded the first 20 minutes of play trailing by only three points (21-18), but UWGB opened the second-half with a 12-0 run that put the game out of reach. Tournament MVP Tiffany Mor finished the contest with 14 points and 11 rebounds while Natalie Berglin added 14 points. Jeanette Woodbery led WSU with 13 points and five rebounds while Whitney Lewis added 12 points and six boards. The 2005 All-Tournament Team included Tiffany Mor, Abby Scharlow and Nicole Soulis of UW-Green Bay, Whitney Lewis of Wright State and Dejeanette Flournoy of UIC.
