UW-Milwaukee 74, Loyola 67
CHICAGO (AP) -- Ed McCants scored 18 points to lead UW-Milwaukee to a 74-67 victory over Loyola in Horizon League play Thursday.
Loyola led throughout the first half, but the lead changed several times in the second half, with the Ramblers taking a 58-49 lead with 11 minutes left.
UW-Milwaukee (18-5, 11-2) took control of the game with six minutes left, when Boo Davis hit a 3-pointer to give the Panthers a 64-63 lead.
Loyola (7-16, 5-8) failed to score from the field for the last eight minutes of the contest, with the Panthers outscoring them 17-6 during that time.
McCants hit five of 10 3-point attempts, as Adrian Tigert and Mark Pancratz scored 10 points apiece. Tigert also grabbed 10 rebounds.
DaJuan Gouard had a game-high 22 points for Loyola. Blake Schilb had 19 points, and Chris Logan added 10.

UIC 71, Youngstown State 65
CHICAGO (AP) -- Elliott Poole scored 18 points and to lead UIC to a 71-65 Horizon League victory over Youngstown State Thursday.
Rocky Collum and Jovan Stefanov each added 14 points and Cedrick Banks scored 13 for the Flames (11-10, 6-5). Stefanov lead the Flames with eight rebounds.
UIC led 35-32 at the half and hit 13-of-17 free throws in the second to secure the victory in front of a home crowd of 3,624.
Quin Humphrey scored 18 points and Khari McQueen had 15 points for Youngstown State (4-18, 2-10). Humphrey also lead the Penguins with nine rebounds.

Detroit 74, Wright State 49
DETROIT (AP) -- James Thues scored 21 points and Brandon Cotton added 20 to lead Detroit to a 71-49 victory over Wright State on Thursday night.
DaShaun Wood scored 18 points in a losing effort for the Raiders (11-13, 6-7 Horizon). Wright State also got 13 points from Zakee Boyd.
The Titans (9-13, 6-6) never trailed after breaking a 5-5 tie early in the first half. Cotton scored 13 points in the first half as Detroit took a 28-20 lead into the break.
Torvoris Baker added 14 points and Ryvon Coville had nine rebounds for Detroit, which outscored the Raiders 32-16 in the paint and turned 15 Wright State turnovers into 17 points.

Cleveland State 65, Butler 56
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Omari Westley scored 7 of his 21 points in the final five minutes Thursday night as Cleveland State pulled away to a 65-56 victory over Butler.
The Bulldogs (9-13, 4-8 Horizon) led by seven points early in the second half and were still in front 51-50 before baskets by Justin Henderson and Westley started a 15-5 run by the Vikings (9-11, 6-6).
Westley added a 3-pointer and two free throws, Raheem Moss made four straight foul shots and Walt Chavis added two free throws for the final margin, Cleveland State's largest of the game.
Patrick Tatham added 20 points and Moss finished with 12. Butler was led by Brandon Polk with 13 points and A.J. Graves with 10 points.
Butler led 32-28 at the half, but Cleveland State held the Bulldogs to 29 percent shooting in the second half. Butler sill had a chance after Graves was fouled on a 3-point attempt and hit all three free throws with 34 seconds left, but the Vikings put the game out of reach with the final free throws by Moss and Chavis.
