BUTLER BULLDOGS (18-9, 8-7)

  • Butler's 18 wins this season are its most since the 2004 team finished 18-10. In addition, the Bulldogs' nine losses are their fewest since the 1997 squad went 28-7.
  • Butler's 426 block assists this year rank as the ninth-highest single-season total in school history. BU's .208 hitting percentage would also place in the top 10 single-season records.
  • Butler ranks in the Horizon League's top three for blocks per set (2nd, 2.35), kills per set (2nd, 12.83), opponent hitting percentage (2nd, .165), hitting percentage (3rd, .208) and assists per set (3rd, 11.78).

    CLEVELAND STATE VIKINGS (7-18, 6-9)
  • Cleveland State picked up its first road win of the season on Saturday afternoon -- a 3-0 decision at Green Bay.
  • Cleveland State concludes the regular season on Friday night at Youngstown State. The Vikings have knocked off the Penguins 16 consecutive times.
  • Senior Jordan Bateman has reached 400 digs for the third consecutive year. She is the only player in Cleveland State history to have at least 400 digs in two seasons.

    GREEN BAY PHOENIX (8-16, 4-10)
  • Senior Megan Elfering places seventh in the nation with 5.56 digs per set.
  • Green Bay is still without a road win in 2008. The Phoenix has two more chances -- at Loyola (Nov. 14) and UIC (Nov. 15).
  • Green Bay has dropped eight consecutive contests after a season-best three-match winning streak.

    LOYOLA RAMBLERS (18-9, 7-7)
  • Loyola's final two regular-season matches are at home. The Ramblers have won more than 75 percent of their contests at Alumni Gym all-time.
  • Loyola owns a Horizon League-best 11 home victories this year. LU's .846 home winning percentage is second in the league.

    MILWAUKEE PANTHERS (18-8, 11-3)
  • Junior Lauren Felsing places 15th in the country with 5.21 digs per set.Milwaukee has now won at least 11 Horizon League matches for 12 consecutive seasons.
  • The Panthers own a 144-18 (.889) record in conference play during the past 12 campaigns.
  • Milwaukee has won 37 straight home matches during regular-season Horizon League action. The Panthers have also won 127 of their last 142 at the Klotsche Center.
  • Milwaukee is just two wins shy of 20 for the 11th time in the past 12 years.

    UIC FLAMES (12-15, 5-9)
  • Junior Katerina Hanackova (11 kills/13 digs) and sophomore Casie Sullivan (14 kills/18 digs) posted their second straight double-doubles on Friday night against Butler.
  • UIC totaled nine more service aces than its two opponents last week. The Flames rank second in the Horizon League with 1.38 aces per set this season.

    VALPARAISO CRUSADERS (21-6, 11-4)
  • Valparaiso has surpassed the 20-win plateau for a seventh straight season. The Crusaders are one of just 19 Division I teams to have 20+ victories each year from 2002-07.
  • Valparaiso has won 10 straight matches -- tying the second-longest streak in program history. The Crusaders have also won 14 of their last 15 matches overall.
  • Valparaiso has won 18 consecutive sets in Horizon League action, dating back to second set against Milwaukee on Oct. 24.
  • Valparaiso leads the nation with 15.22 kills per set and 14.19 assists per set.
  • Junior Angie Porche places fifth in the country with 4.65 kills per set. Senior Brittany Malicoat is 14th with 5.24 digs per set.

    WRIGHT STATE RAIDERS (14-14, 9-5)
  • Wright State pulled off an upset of Dayton on Saturday night. The Flyers, who entered the affair 19-8 overall and 10-2 in the Atlantic 10 Conference, had previously lost just once at home this season -- to No. 18 Purdue on Sept. 19.
  • Wright State's win over Dayton was its first since Sept. 18, 2001, and its first at the Frericks Center since Oct. 30, 1990.
  • Sophomore Shaunda Sandifer paced WSU with 17 kills against Dayton, while junior Michelle Hammond recorded 51 assists.

    YOUNGSTOWN STATE PENGUINS (11-15, 4-11)
  • Youngstown State registered 10 aces and a season-best .982 serve reception percentage against Green Bay on Friday night.
  • Youngstown State had its best offensive performance in nearly a month against Milwaukee on Saturday afternoon. The Penguins hit .229 as a team, which was its best since a .289 effort against Green Bay on Oct. 12.
  • Junior Kaitlin O'Hara tied a career-high with 16 kills against Milwaukee on Saturday. She also hit .394, which was her third-highest percentage of the season.
