Oklahoma State 3, Milwaukee 1
INDIANAPOLIS -- In Horizon League women's soccer action on Saturday, Youngstown State snuck by Valparaiso with a 1-0 win while Wright State fired off 16 shots and beat Cleveland State 5-1. On Sunday, Milwaukee fell 3-1 to Olkahoma State in non-conference play.

Despite having just eight shots -- and only four on goal -- Youngstown State managed to come away from Saturday's contest against Valparaiso with a 1-0 win.
Valparaiso (9-5-2, 2-2-1 HL) fired off 26 shots but couldn't find the net past Penguins freshman goalkeeper Jackie Podolsky, who denied all seven shots on goal to earn her first career shutout.
Youngstown State (7-7, 2-3 HL) got all of the offense it needed in the 37th minute when freshman Shay Sade drilled a 30-yarder into the upper right-hand corner to push the Peguins past the Crusaders.
Wright State 5, Cleveland State 1
Wright State jumped out to an early lead on Saturday, taking advantage of 16 shots to pick up a 5-1 league win over Cleveland State.
Freshman Kalee Thompson figured into the first two Wright State (7-3-6, 2-1-3 HL) goals, scoring in the sixth minute and then assisting the first career goal of fellow freshman Natalie Sedlock in the 21st minute.
In the 28th minute, freshman Ini Umotong hit her team-leading seventh goal of the season to put the Raiders up 3-0. Cleveland State (6-10, 2-4 HL) ended the Wright State shutout bid on a penalty kick from senior Val Stahl in the 39th minute but Raiders senior Emilie Fillion answered with a goal of her own just 66 second later.
Senior Adrianna Guerrero put Wright State up 5-1 with the second half's lone goal in the 64th minute. Wright State junior keeper Brooke McCurdy made three saves in the win.
Oklahoma State 3, Milwaukee 1
In its final non-conference match of the season, Milwaukee was unable to overcome a three-goal deficit against visiting Oklahoma State on Sunday afternoon.
In the loss, the Panthers (5-8-1) saw a three-game winning streak snapped. Though unable to complete a comeback, Milwaukee ended a would-be shutout in the 79th minute when senior Sammy Vovos netted her third goal of the season.
The Cowgirls (11-4-3) had jumped out the a 3-0 lead with goals in the 37th, 45th and 50th minutes.
