YSU's Curry Advances to National Meet

Youngstown State junior Danielle Curry qualified for the 2010 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a 12th place finish in the shot put (15.71 meters) at the NCAA East Regional at the Irwin Bell Track in Greensboro, N.C.

YSU was joined by Butler, Detroit and Wright State in competition at the East Regional; while Loyola and Milwaukee represented the Horizon League in the 2010 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field West Regional in Austin, Texas.

The NCAA Outdoor Championships are set for June 9-12 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
